This is a list of named aces and star units in Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception, as well as their locations and spawn requirements.

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- In Operation X, there are two secret named aces, the FALKEN "Z.O.E." and XFA-27 "SCARFACE1". However, as with the appearance of Mobius 1 in The Gauntlet in Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War, these two secret named aces are not canonical, and they do not unlock any special colors for the player.
- The named aces "FURY", "SORROW", "PAIN", and "SPIDER" could be a reference to the Cobra Unit from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.
- The named aces "ACRUX", "BEACRUX", and "GACRUX" share their names with stars in the constellation Crux.
- Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy features another ace with the callsign "COMET". In that game, COMET flies a CH-47.
- Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown also features another ace with "COMET" callsign. In that game, COMET flies a MiG-31B Foxhound.
- As in Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies, the aces tend to fly aircraft that are suitable for their mission (i.e. attackers in an air-to-ground mission).
