The F/A-18E Super Hornet is a carrier-based multirole. It is an improvement on the original F/A-18C Hornet, featuring an enlarged airframe, increased fuel capacity, and rectangular air intakes. The F/A-18E's cockpit has one seat, while the F/A-18F variant has two seats.
The F/A-18E debuted in Ace Combat 2. It was later playable in Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War and the handheld titles Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception, Ace Combat: Joint Assault, and Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy. The aircraft also made an unplayable appearance in Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation. The F/A-18E was made available in Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown as part of the TOP GUN: Maverick Aircraft Set DLC.

During the Usean coup d'état, the Usean Rebel Forces's Beast Squadron[1] and the Z.O.E. Major[2] were notable aces of the war.
During the Circum-Pacific War, Super Hornets were operated by both the Osean Air Defense Force and the Yuktobanian Air Force.
During the Emmeria-Estovakia War, the Republic of Emmeria Navy had numerous F/A-18Es stationed on the aircraft carrier CVN-30.[3]
During the Aurelian War, F/A-18Es were operated by the Leasath Air Force. One LAF ace, callsign Storm, also used the aircraft.[4]
Joint Assault universe
Both Martinez Security and the Valahia were known to have operated the Super Hornet. One particular pilot, Milosz Sulejmani, operated an F/A-18E while flying for both sides.
