Beast Squadron
- "The Beast Squadron! What are they doing still alive?"
- ― Kei Nagase[1]
Beast Squadron, officially the 5th Squadron, was a former Usean Allied Forces squadron led by Sergei Brynner that defected to the Usean Rebel Forces during the Usean coup d'état.[2]
History
During the early stages of the Usean coup d'état, Beast Squadron defected from the Usean Allied Forces and joined the Usean Rebel Forces who opposed the treaty signing with the Osean government.[3]
On April 29, 1998, the squadron engaged the Scarface Squadron over the Payton Channel after the latter had wiped out an oncoming rebel squadron. The dogfight ultimately led to Beast Squadron's defeat.[4]
On August 30, 1998, the squadron once again engaged Scarface Squadron, this time over the Comona Islands. After a number of their pilots were shot down, the squadron was reinforced with multiple F-15 S/MTDs and EA-18G Growlers[5] for electronic warfare. Despite this advantage, the squadron was defeated once again.[1]
It is unknown what became of any of Beast Squadron's members following the engagement over the Comona Islands.

Trivia
- Strangely enough, the F/A-18E jammers seen in Toy Box don't use Beast Squadron's paint scheme but instead use Color 4 of the aircraft.
- In Ace Combat Infinity, the EA-18G -Beast- 's description states that the squadron used the EA-18G Growler as their jammer instead of the F/A-18E as seen in Toy Box. This could have been done to compensate for the fact that the Growler was not available in Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy.
