The MiG-31 Foxhound is a high-speed interceptor developed by Mikoyan.
History
Strangereal
In the Belkan War, the Foxhound was mainly operated by the Belkan Air Force as an interceptor aircraft. One of the known units that operated the aircraft was the Schwarze Team which intercepted a number of fleeing Belkan pilots before they succumbed to the actions of the Galm Team in Operation Battle-Axe.[1] During Operation Ravage, a squadron of disgruntled pilots flew Foxhounds in an attempt to stop the detonation of several V1 tactical nuclear weapons.[2]
During the Usean coup d'état, several MiG-31s were used by the Usean Rebel Forces to escort a reconnaissance flight above Amber Mountains. An URF ace, Dao was among the pilots assigned as escort.[3]
During the Aurelian War, the Leasath Air Force operated the Foxhound with Paladin being the ace of this type.[4]
Joint Assault Universe
During the Valahia Crisis, Varcolac Squadron member Faryd Gaviria flew a MiG-31 in the second[5] and third encounters[6] against Antares Squadron.
