Welcoming Committee is the 25th mission in the Japanese version of Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere. It is the sixth mission in the General Resource (I) arc, and is played if the player saves Keith in Stratosphere.

Briefing

We have intel on where a Neucom space shuttle will be re-entering from the orbital satellite base. It is carrying materials from the orbital base. If they manage to get their hands on them, Neucom would get a boost in weapons development, allowing them to get a huge advantage. And so, we will be intercepting the space shuttle, and destroy it before it returns.

Objectives

The mission's primary objective is to destroy the shuttle before it lands; in addition, the player must destroy all R-211s. If the shuttle lands, the player must destroy it along with a tower and any surviving targets.

A-Rank

Earning an A-Rank requires destroying 17+ enemies and shooting down the shuttle before it lands. If the shuttle lands, the player will earn a Mission Over and a D-Rank.

Debriefing

The target's destruction was a success. The cargo was data for developing high-tech materials.
