Stratosphere
Stratosphere is the 24th mission in the Japanese version of Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere. It is the fifth mission in the General Resource (I) arc.
Briefing
Unlike previous operations, Neucom is mounting a counterattack. An advance team is already en-route, but we must play hardball with the high-attitude attack craft. Therefore, as reinforcement, you will sortie in a newly prepared special aircraft and intercept the enemy's high-attitude attack craft.
Objectives
The mission's main objective is to destroy all R-531 Moburas. However, after a few seconds, a new target will appear, and the player's actions will determine which mission is played next: if the R-531s are destroyed, Technology Transfer will be the next mission; if Keith is saved, Welcoming Committee will be the next mission.

A-Rank
Earning an A-Rank requires destroying 8+ enemies. If Keith is saved, the mission ends and the player earns a Mission Over and a D-Rank.
Debriefing
If the Moburas were shot down:
The interception of Neucom was successful. We appreciate the prompt execution of this operation.
If Keith was saved:
Neucom's invasion was just barely stopped.
