Fragile Cargo is the eighth mission in the Japanese version of Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere. It is the eighth mission in the UPEO (II) arc, and is played if the player shoots down the recon or flies above the canyon in Ghosts of the Past or chooses not to follow Rena Hirose in No Clearance.

Description

"Suddenly, an anonymous claim of responsibility arrived. It said "We've got a very special gift for you".... At the same time, an airship of unknown affiliation appeared in the Axel Bay industrial area. As stated in the claim of responsibility, the aircraft was loaded with a highly-lethal biochemical weapon. In order to prevent this sort of damage, the SARF members headed for the industrial area. "

Briefing

Just as in the anonymous statement, an unidentified airship has appeared over the Axel Bay coastal industrial region. We have examined the statement's authenticity and determine that a bio-chemical weapon is present. Make it land on water in order to minimize damage. Destroy any buildings that would be an obstacle in the airship's path!

Objectives

The mission's primary objective is to prevent the airship from crashing by destroying any chimneys and bridges that are in the way. The amount of targets is random on every playthrough. After the airship crashes in the water, the next objective is to destroy the Hydrofoil that spawns before it leaves the map.
