The Estovakian Air Force[2] (EAF) is the aerial service branch of the Estovakian military. It is a well-equipped force, utilizing many advanced and highly-capable aircraft such as the F-22A Raptor, Su-47 Berkut, and CFA-44 Nosferatu.

Multiple names are provided for Estovakia's aerial service branch:

  • Estovakian Air Force[2]
  • Estovakia Air Force[3]
  • Federal Republic of Estovakia Air Force[4]

Following the Ulysses 1994XF04 planetfall, Estovakia fell into ruin and a civil war broke out.[5] After the Eastern Faction won the Estovakian Civil War, the Eastern Faction's air force became the national Estovakian Air Force.[6][7][8]

Emmeria-Estovakia War

In August 2015, The Generals[5] declared war on Emmeria and managed to capture Gracemeria with the use of the Estovakian Air Force's Aerial Fleet.[1] Throughout the Emmeria-Estovakia War, the Estovakian Air Force—especially its elite Strigon Team—played a key role in securing multiple victories.[9] Despite their initial successes, they were not able to slow the Emmerian counterattack once the P-1112 Aigaion was destroyed by Emmerian squadrons.[10]

In March 2016, Emmerian forces recaptured their capital[11] and Estovakian leaders were forced to cede all captured territory.[12] Members of the Estovakian Air Force who opposed peace talks with Emmeria joined General Gustav Dvornik and attempted to use the Chandelier cruise missile system to destroy Gracemeria.[12] On April 1, rogue Estovakian squadrons, including the remnants of Strigon Team, attempted to defend the Chandelier from an Emmerian assault at the Razgriz Straits, but were unable to prevent Talisman from destroying the railgun.[13]

Belkan War commemoration

On June 30, 2020, after being invited by the Osean Federation, Estovakia attended a ceremony commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Belkan War's conclusion. To participate in the event, the Estovakian Air Force sent at least five MiG-29A Fulcrums, as well as a CFA-44 Nosferatu and four Su-33 Flanker-Ds painted with the liveries of the original Strigon Team. These aircraft were showcased at Redmill Air Force Base alongside the aircraft of Emmeria, their former E.E. War adversary, as well as those from other participating countries.[14]

As with the rest of the Estovakian military, with the exception of the Navy, the Estovakian Air Force was divided into a series of military "precincts". The order included aircraft in the form of aviation regiments.
