Zoran Mikulanec
Zoran Mikulanec,[a] callsign Drakon, was an Estovakian ace pilot and former member of the Eastern Faction. During the Emmeria-Estovakia War he was a member of the Estovakian Air Force's Central Forces Precinct and led the 80th Aviation Regiment's 3rd Tactical Fighter Squadron.[2]
Drakon is one of the named aces in Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation. He appears in Sipli Field if played on Expert difficulty or higher. His personal livery for the Tornado GR.4 becomes available for purchase in the hangar after shooting him down.[1]
Biography
Estovakian Civil War
During the Estovakian Civil War, Mikulanec was a member of the Eastern Faction. He took part in an unspecified operation which involved a citywide bombing of a Lyes United Front tank brigade. The mission resulted in the destruction of said city.[2] His success would prove pivotal in the Eastern Faction's eventual victory in the war. Although, the city that had been destroyed in the bombing raid was Mikulanec's own hometown.[2] The infamy gained by his callous actions during the operation was said to have troubled him for the remainder of his life.[2]
Emmeria-Estovakia War
During the war, Mikulanec was assigned to the Khesed Island front lines and was tasked with defending the Sipli Fields. During the Battle of Sipli Field, following the Estovakian evacuation order, he attempted to single-handedly hold the front line.[2] He was eventually shot down by Emmerian forces.[3]
