Final Countdown (AC2)
Final Countdown is the seventeenth mission in Ace Combat 2. It is also the fourth and final mission of the Operation "B"ELLISSIMA branch.
Briefing[edit]
Your last mission of Operation "B"ELLISSIMA is to break through the enemy's fighter unit and their sea force. This is their last line of defense. Our enemy is investing an unprecedented number of units in this operation. Extremely heavy resistance must be expected. It's going to be rough, but we can do it!

A fierce battle is anticipated, but when we manage to break through, their headquarters will be well within our reach. Good luck! We're counting on you to wipe 'em out!
Objectives[edit]
This mission has a mixed force of aircraft and warships that are marked as TGT. As with Seagull, all shipborne weapons are automatically destroyed when their parent ship is destroyed, and doing so can save the player some time and ammunition.
