F-15Cs continued to be fielded in the Lighthouse War. OADF F-15Cs were seen chasing multiple Erusean MQ-99 drones at the same time Avril Mead performed the maiden flight of her F-104C, but she was shot down by the F-15Cs, as she was violating restricted airspace during her flight and had no IFF or radio equipment. The Long Range Strategic Strike Group, including Trigger and Count, used the F-15C during their operations. The Erusean Air Force, on the other hand, have few F-15Cs in their possession and used the airframes rather sparingly, often away from contested areas as backline units, most likely due to their preference for the F-15J. Multiple Erusean F-15Cs were deployed the oil facilities located in Artiglio Port during Operation Three of a Kind, but despite their efforts, the port and the surrounding oil facilities sustained catastrophic damage from Spare Squadron's air raid.[1] On September 19, 2019, a squadron of four Erusean F-15Cs were hastily launched to defend Farbanti from Osean capture. However, the squadron arrived late into the battle and was unable to turn the tide of battle with the remaining defenders.[2]
"A large twin-engine air superiority fighter that boasts excellent performance results, which it owes to dependable—rather than state-of-the-art—technology. Designed to be a dominant force in the air, its high-power engine allows for fast acceleration and high speeds, and its robust structure provides great durability. The adaptability of the craft has seen improved versions being released, as well as bomber and experimental variants. Its nickname is "Eagle.""

In Assault Horizon, the F-15C Eagle originally was supposed to use the EG tailcode for the 33rd Fighter Wing (based at Eglin Air Force Base) in Florida, but for unknown reasons, this was changed to LN for the 48th Fighter Wing (based at RAF Lakenheath) in the UK in the final game.[citation needed]
An aggressor squadron is an allied squadron that pretends to be an enemy during training or exercises. Aggressor aircraft use liveries based on other countries' air forces.
