Battle of the Nile
- "Hostiles are using the pyramids as cover. Be sure you don't crash into a world heritage site."
- ― Frederick Burford
The Battle of the Nile was the destruction of Valahia forces near the Nile river in Egypt.[1]
Prelude
After the Second Battle of Tokyo, the International Union Peacekeeping Force was created to resolve the Valahia Crisis. Martinez Security was invited to the IUPF due to its experience at fighting the Valahia. However, the defection of Rigel Squadron in the previous battle damaged Martinez Security's reputation; as a result, Antares One was sent to attack Valahia forces near the Nile river in Egypt in order to improve Martinez Security's image. [1]
Battle
After his arrival on the battlefield, Antares One destroyed the Valahia rear guard and then began attacking the main force. Even after an ambush near the Giza pyramids, the Valahia forces near the Nile were easily destroyed. [1]
Aftermath
As a result of the battle, the Valahia insurgency in Africa was halted. In addition, the Spiridus was able to escape Egypt and fled to an unknown point in the Middle East; however, Martinez Security was not able to intercept it, as they were given a mission to rescue a VIP and retake oil fields in the middle east.[1][2]
