Rigel Squadron
The Rigel Squadron was an Erusean Air Force squadron that saw deployment in the Lighthouse War.
History
On May 15, 2019, Rigel Squadron escorted Erusean bombers while they bombed the IUN-PKF base at Fort Grays Island, but failed when all bombers were shot down.[1]
On August 10, 2019, Rigel Squadron attempted to defend the Erusean supply bases and the Njord Fleet at Snider's Top, but ultimately failed.[2]
On September 19, they defended Farbanti from invading Osean forces, but ultimately failed as the city was captured with the death of several Erusean leaders.[3]
On October 31, 2019, the squadron joined the Osean-Erusean coalition forces and engaged Erusean Radicals in the area. At the end of the operation, they were forced to retreat once the ADF-11F UAVs had entered the airspace.[4] The following day, they assisted in shooting down the UAVs.[5]
