The 2nd Anniversary Update[1] was a free update for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown that gave players access to ten iconic skins and emblems from the Ace Combat franchise.

The free 2nd Anniversary update includes the following skins:
- Ridgeback Squadron skin for the ASF-X Shinden II from Ace Combat Infinity
- Mobius 1 skin for the F-4E Phantom II from Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies
- Talisman skin for the F-15E Strike Eagle from Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation
- Patrick James Beckett skin for the F-16C Fighting Falcon from Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War
- Gryphus 1 skin for the F-22A Raptor from Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception
- Phoenix skin for the F-22A Raptor from Air Combat
- Phoenix skin for the Su-37 Terminator from Ace Combat 2
- Rena Hirose skin for the Su-37 Terminator from Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere
- Universal Peace Enforcement Organization skin for the Typhoon from Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere
