Intercept (AC3)
Intercept is the 26th mission in the international version of Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere.
Briefing
Neuwork's space research satellite made a water landing in the Eusian Ocean, and their recovery unit is en route from Megafloat. General Resource's fleet is also en route and is likely to reach the satellite first. Mobilize immediately and prevent satellite recovery by General Resource!
Objectives
Initial
The General Resource mobile fleet must be destroyed.
Update
Either the allied hydrofoils reach the satellite first, or all enemy ships are destroyed.

Reality Distortion
Based on UPEO's Intelligence's interrogation of Ouroboros command personnel, we verified that Ouroboros engineered the escalation of hostilities between the two conglomerates.
The General Resource scientists who defected to Neuwork were merely unwitting pawns in Ouroboros' disinformation campaign.
In addition to bringing stolen technologies to Neuwork, these defectors unknowingly spread false information about General Resource's plans to use military force against Neuwork.
The strategic information carried by the defectors was fabricated entirely by Ouroboros and had no basis in reality.
Ouroboros continued the disinformation campaign by feeding false intelligence data to both sides from their Expo City outpost.
This disinformation campaign was so effective that the Neuwork leadership used the false information to justify a pre-emptive attack against General Resource.
General Resource in turn was fooled into attacking Neuwork based on fictional military strategy data that warned them about an imminent attack by Neuwork.
Armed with this information, the UPEO diplomatic corps are now attempting to negotiate a cease-fire between Neuwork and General Resource.
