"One hundred aircraft down! Great work out there Phoenix, you're the pride of the Allied Forces!"
Keynote to Phoenix after completing the mission.

Extra Mission 3 is a special mission in Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy.

Objectives

Initial

The mission objective is to shoot down 100 enemy aircraft that spawn in waves of five. Each pair of waves spawns the same aircraft. After the second wave of a pair, the enemy aircraft will change, gradually becoming harder over the course of the mission. Destroying four aircraft in the first wave of a pair will cause the second to spawn. The first wave of a new pair will not spawn until all five aircraft in the previous wave are destroyed. Each wave that spawns before a Mission Update will include two star unit aircraft that are different from the rest of the wave.

Mission Update 1

After the second wave of Typhoons is destroyed, totaling forty destroyed aircraft, the mission timer will be reset.

Mission Update 2

After the second wave of Rafale Ms is destroyed, totaling seventy destroyed aircraft, the mission timer will be reset. The final wave of the mission is comprised entirely of star units.
