Battle of Saint Ark

The Battle of Saint Ark was an offensive operation that focused on liberating the city of Saint Ark from the Usean Rebel Forces.[1][2]
Prelude
After the success of Operations Alphaville and Bellissima, the headquarters of the Rebel Forces, Saint Ark, was finally open to an invasion by the Usean Allied Forces. However, the rebels were able to set up several lines of defense in the city. Scarface Squadron's mission was to destroy the lines of defense and destroy the rebel headquarters in order to soften up the city for the Allied invasion force that would follow them.[2]
Battle
At 1700 hrs, Scarface Squadron began their attack on the rebel forces. After the second line of defense was neutralized, a Zone of Endless unit arrived to support the rebels. Despite electronic warfare from the Z.O.E. unit, it was soon destroyed, and Scarface Squadron quickly neutralized the remaining lines of defense and destroyed the Rebel headquarters.[2]
Result
Saint Ark soon liberated by the Allied Forces as a result of the battle. In addition, the loss of their headquarters was a severe blow to the Rebels. However, an allied patrol plane reported that an unidentified ship was seen on the waters near Saint Ark.[2]
