The Battle of Payton Channel was a conflict that took place in the Payton Channel.

Prelude

The Usean Rebel Forces decided to launch an attack on an Allied Forces base in an attempt to gain the advantage. The Allied Forces planned to counter this attack by intercepting the rebels at the Payton Channel.

Battle

At 1200 hrs, Scarface Squadron entered the airspace over the Payton Channel and began attacking the rebel forces. An ace squadron, callsign Beast, arrived to reinforce the attack on the base, but they were eventually shot down along with the rest of the rebel forces.

Result

The rebels' attack on the base failed, and the rebels were forced to pull back their forces at the frontline. The Allied Forces planned to take advantage of their retreat by unleashing a powerful counterattack.
