Puna Base is an air base located in the Puna Plains, in western Aurelia.
History

During Leasath's occupation of Aurelia during the Aurelian War, Puna Base was hastily constructed by the former and served as a resupply base for their air force.[1]
The base became a prime target for the Aurelian Air Force in order to end the threat to Aubrey Air Base, and to acquire a necessary staging area to recapture Port Patterson. Gryphus Squadron was deployed to destroy the base's parked bombers and cargo planes, forcing the Leasathanians to abandon the base.
Captured by the Aurelians shortly after, the base provided them with much-needed supplies and allowed further operations to be carried out more easily.[2]
