Small thing
Proto, when you comment on a talk page or forum, you have to 'sign' your comments by adding four ~'s at the end of each post. It's a cross-wiki policy, and it's pretty un-admin like to leave posts unsigned. Signing will show who exactly made the comment and the date/time of when it was made. Also, you can customize your sig, I myself take pride in making mine awesome, try:

For the SP, AFAIK, you have to acquire most achievements (44 at least). For the online ones, try out playing with the ES.info crew.

Deleting pages vs. redirecting pages
Hello, sysop. Recently, you've deleted the entries on Silber Squadron and Indigo Squadron. While I fully agree with you that having duplicate redundant entries on the same topic is a waste, I urge you to redirect such pages instead of deleting them outright. The reason is that some other pages probably contain links to the deleted pages and so deleting the latter creates red links in the former, ruining the wiki consistency. The redirects are a cheap way to ensure that all links to duplicate entries converge into the single main page. --Koveras Alvane 07:08, March 26, 2010 (UTC)

Let's get up to speed: basically, we need to find a way for the wikia to gain popularity within the Ace Combat community, and possibly that of Namco Bandai, which would be a massive milestone. Well, going to Wikia central and asking for a "Wikia Spotlight" thing could be a good start. In fact, makign a userpage on Wikia Central advertising the wiki could also help (I've done a similar thing). Now, Namco Bandai, I see, you could get someone form there to share some AC info. I'd start with a friendly e-mail to them (heck, if we're lucky they may even show a link to the AC wiki here in hopes of people to further understand AC). I mean, we have some pretty good editors already here (including you), but of course I'll help as well in this, count me in.

I am aware of there being a page where you can post info on any XBox Live Squadron you're involved in, but I was wondering if one needed permission to do so. If so, then may I post the info?

You don't need to require permission to advertise your squadron. As long as it's on your user page, it's all cool. Just make sure you don't follow the path of the "New Generation of Strigon Team" squadron; they kept promoting their team on our articles before HavocReaper48 nuked them from orbit.

And on another footnote, I remember encountering "New Generation of Strigon Team" while I was flying as a temporary flight lead for another squadron around January. They're almost as good as they say they are, but I managed to shoot them down with no losses in my own squad.

You'd better believe they did. All members of my squad except for me flew the F-14D against them. There were several times that they almost got on my wingmen's six o'clock, but for me it was a different story, as the Su-47 can out-turn the Su-33 at low speeds. That along with the fact that I had instructed my squad to use a variation on Gualt Team's "Golden Nest" from ACZ, it was ensured that we all had mutual protection. By the time they found out what we were doing, there were only two left, both of whom I picked off with cannon fire at point-blank range. Game, Set and Match. Wywyrm: 1, Strigon: 0

I found this video on Youtube that a guy put together for the Megalith mission from Ace Combat 04. He used AC4 and an FPS game I cant identify to get the perspective of Mobius 1, Mobius 2 through 8, and the ground forces inside Megalith. It's just INCREDIBLE!!!

Your right you never said anything about there being a AC7, but I put that info on here to tell you guys that the faintest hint of AC7 might be gone now. As I said before Project Aces is the founder of AC and they have created a new game on WW2 which is way out of our timeline. As for that game, you can check Future Shop, Best Buy and your sure to see it. The AC series is as of since it started the best modern flight sim. there is. This a real bummer but there is still hope with that AC: Horizon thing. Personally I have never heard of it but:). Sice everybody was getting hyped up about the possibility of AC7 I wanted to technicly tow them back down into reality.

I think we should probably only list the people who are guaranteed to have flown the plane. We don't know the Garuda Two ever flew the CFA-44. We can't even be sure that Talisman did. You might choose not to fly it. We can only be sure that Pasternak did. So we should probably leave any pilot listings as only people who we know flew whatever plane is in question. Grabacr's right. Even after the massive manteinance & reworking from January onward, they still believe that we're an unreliable info source, filled with spam. The idiots (and pardon my language) believe that the new administration hasn't changed anything. Sure, we may be factually inaccurate in some points, however that can easily be fixed with a quick click of the Edit button.

OK, normally, you'd need to rack up a large number of edits (around +1000) while showing respect for your fellow users & following the rules. However, the process is accelerated to M61 firing speed when someone shows a desire to help the site in ways that include formatting, articles & all that jazz.
