I removed the first paragraph of the overview (or did I call it description?) section and stuck it at the top as a summary of the plane, I moved the Arms section up under the description, put the Aces after the game specific specs, and moved the related aircraft over the comparable aircraft. Also, do you think we should get rid of any links to planes we don't have here? Some of the articles have links to related aircraft that we don't have articles for because they weren't in an AC game. XBox Live: I WAS SHOT DOWN!?

I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!! After I dont know how long of a time of being completely undefeated, I think, no, I KNOW I've finally met my match. He flies alone, callsign "Death Angel 1", and he is not an easy opponent by any and all means. I took him on with my entire squadron, and one by one, we each fell, until it was just me and him. Despite all of my maneuvering, including the "Zero" maneuver (see my user page), I couldn't come close to him. He shot me down after about 12 minutes. If there was ever a real-life Mobius 1, THIS GUY WOULD HAVE TO BE HIM!!!

Great. Get us some info on Skies of Incursion: missions are useful in that matter. Use the Mission infobox & fill the specified spaces. And in case there is a briefing, add it, alongside the mission's script (and I mean the lines scripted to appear.) Talk about crowning moment of awesome; they're using Linkage of Electrosphere as briefing music.

On a side note, listen to the orchestral tune that plays when chasing the hostile Phantom II. Considering how composer Inon Zur (Fallout 3, Dragon Age Origins & Crysis) will be replacing Tetsukazu Nakanishi as main composer (why?), it appears that Joint Assault will take Fires of Liberation's place as the Ace Combat title with the most orchestral OST. And IMO, his works on X2 sound like Marty O'Donnell's works.

Lest we forget the mission intro: the system says "MISSION 01 PHASE 1". Perhaps this is a variation of AC6's Operation System?

And of mention is the massive cluster of enemy fighter a la 8492 in Phase 2. Thankfully, they ignore you completely. However, slowing down just as few feet away from a honking B-52 seemed outright suicidal. ProtoStealth 19:19, July 16, 2010 (UTC)

Just an idea

In the event Project Aces were to reveal an Ace Combat 7 someday, I think a new aircraft stat would be in order: Radar Cross-Section. This essentially means how difficult it is to hit with long-range (radar guided) missiles; the lower the number, the harder it is to hit. The F-22A would probably rate about 24 on a scale of 1-100, the XFA-27 about 21, and the ADF-01 about 18. What do you think (bear in mind, this is just an original idea of mine and is by no means in any installment of Ace Combat, but to me it sounds good in theory).

Ive been thinking about this project and here is some of my thougths:

• art competitions like draw your favourite aircraft, characters etc.
• text based adventures
• xbox live squadrons
• PSP squardons (for joint assault, ill get to that when it comes out)
• fan fiction storys manga etc
• invent your own super weapon/ plane / ship etc

Plus I neglected to mention that the pilot you guys know as Wywyrm 4 is no longer with us. He was on a trip with his family when they got hit broadside by an 18-Wheeler at a four-way intersection. All inside the the vehicle were killed, the truck driver surviving with minor injury despite evidence that he had probably suffered from a seizure (which would have caused him to pass out, leading to the crash).

The Wywyrm Team Flies Again!!!

The other members went off to fly as parts of other squadrons

I've managed to convince Microsoft to replace my 360 with a new 360 Elite (it took me a while to find the warranty). I'm reviving the squadron as a single element of two planes: myself and Wywyrm 2. As our numbers have been reduced, we'll be using an agressive version of the Gelb Team's fighting style as opposed to the style we used before, which resembled that of the Gault Team.

Anyways, we were also thinking of changing our aircraft's paintscheme (right now our planes have a paint scheme that resembles an Su-47 'A La Schwarze Team'). We were considering an adaptation of the same paint scheme, with the trailing edges of the wings, elevators and rudders made to look as if on fire, as Wywyrm 2 and I are twin Phoenixes (if that's what you call more than one Phoenix) rising from the ashes of the old 3113th. Here's an extremely useful step in gaining popularity: A SPOTLIGHT!! It worked wonders for the Donkey Kong Wiki. I ain't talking about a few hundred viewers, try several thousand! Here's how it works: after gettign the requirements done, we request, wait a couple days to be approved, and then our wiki will be advertised wiki-wide. We even get our own little phrase! Donkey Kong Wiki's was "Come join the jungle jamboree!" (I think it's still up, actually). But you and me need to spruce this place up a bit; we need to categorize every page, make sure there no requests for admin, etc., it's all a part of the requirements. Ready? Your thoughts on the AC:AH TRAILER?

It looks good except for the call of duty crap.

IMO, it looked like the perfect taser for the future of the flight sim genre. With buildings actually being destroyed when hit by fire & aircraft being ripped apart, you could safely say this will become the Transformers 3 of Playstation in terms of destruction. Furthermore, it seems they're out to give Tom Clancy the bird with new, revamped flight physics, as seen with the Russian (Russian threat? Again?) Sukhoi pulling a Pugachev to evade the player's Raptor.

Speaking of the desertic segment, it's impossible for Project Aces to change gameplay like that. Chnages like the WWII turboprops in Joint Assault are acceptable, however including rail shooter segments a la Modern Warfare/Medal of Honor is too extreme. Also, note how the song in the trailer is actually a 2010 remix of The Invasion of Gracemeria. ProtoStealth 03:06, August 12, 2010 (UTC)

Looks great in my opinion, though i must say UH-60 Door Gunner Section? I did this in GRAW2! Looks like it'll rip the tail feathers off HAWX2. and if you guys are complaining about ground war getting rammed in our air combat...note a military op is done by many forces ground, sea and air to accomplish the objective. so if ground forces appear as a support option to assist your assault im all for it. dogfights look intense and destructive, im happy that they will be adding the flaming wrecks of your downed enemies into the mix as well as destructable environments. but this is all based off initial thoughts from an early trailer. as long as the story isnt too Modern Warfare 2 as in holes everywhere and utterly pointless it looks great. though i must say, im dissapointed in Namco dumping Strangereal for this one...

What does Acepedia think about people making edits where nothing is changed. I created a page last night, and today I found that Grabacr 1 had made an edit. But nothing was changed. I compared my original version and his edit, and I can't see that he changed anything. It's like he's just trying to get his edit count up. What do you think?

Proto, can you please do something about Grabacr 1? He keeps making pointless edits on Operation Footprint. He undid two of my edits for no apparent reason. These undoings took it out of the two categories I had placed it in, and the other edit I had made fixed a typo, which he undid as well. He then made a pointless change that made the page worse. I undid both of those to improve the page. Then he fixed a mispelled word. In his summary of that edit, he appears to be cussing me out. I don't know what Grabacr is up to, but I don't like it. AC Zero Aces' Name Translation

Right Ive been digging around in the game code of AC3 and I found out what them hidden weapons are:

The "Homing Laser" is just a prototype of the O.S.L., but without the sounds or the laser beam etc., the enemy just appears to explode. The next weapon is "Small Unguided Bombs", you can fire up to 4 at time but they arnt as powerful as the Spread Bomb. And the weapon which alot of people thought was a "Mini-nuke" is in fact just "Unguided Rockets" which you can fire up to four at a time. Small problem....

I've been reading messages between these two users and it seems that they are attacking other wikias from here. I don't know what they are doing in the attacks but it sounds like trolling/spamming. Hey, read your message. Don't worry I don't hold the Ace Combat wiki here personally responsible for the recent vandalism on the Twilight wiki. I know it was just those two and their respective IP's. We get vandalized all the time, so their recent attack was just a Wednesday for us. Although, I appreciate Yellow94's apology, I have no intention of unbanning him.

Thank you for leaving me a message by the way. I thought about leaving you one last night about them after seeing Blahmarrow's talk history and seeing he has trolled/vandalized other Wiki's too. I didn't want people from the Twilight wiki coming over here and vandalizing this Wiki.

Ace Fanon Stuff

Hey, I was in the neighborhood, so I thought I'd leave a message about some stuff on Ace Fanon.

1. Things are very slow right now. We need to get things going again.

2. I am now a bureaucrat on the Halo Mega Bloks Wiki and Custom Halo Mega Bloks Wiki, both of which are in need of serious TLC. It is getting increasingly hard to keep a good eye on Ace Fanon, so I recommend promoting another admin once things get running again.

3. I hope to put phase 2 of GOLD RUSH in action at some point, and when that happens, I would appreciate your assistance. However, the two issues above should be adressed first.

I just made some significant changes to the main page to get closer to what I think you want. For the Twitter feed, just link me to the Twitter account that you want to appear. There doesn't seem to be an official Twitter account for Ace Combat. At the official site, there's a Twitter icon, but it links to Namco Bandai's community manager's account, where he's talking about all sorts of random stuff, not Ace Combat.

Other than deciding on which Twitter account to display, how do you like the changes I made? Let me know if you want me to tweak the new layout, such as move sections around, use a different color for the headers, etc. Oh, and exactly where do you want the Twitter feed to be? AC3 Timeline

The plot takes place in the future between and around January 1st to July 21st, 2040. The interface in the main menu screen is dated 2040. Late in the game (in any ending), a news story says that Aldair Carlos Nascimento (the executive director of General Resource) died at 3:56 PM, in an unknown date in 2040. His age was mentioned as 75 years old. According to the in-game archives (only in the Japanese version of the game), Aldair was born on July 21, 1964. I would just like to say that this user has been adding images to this page for achievements. From what I can see. Now I think there are a few ways to fix this. Ok Protostealth I will make a deal with you if you let me just post this last page Ace in a Day I will refer the rest of my efforts to only game edits. My other page Flying Ace did very well enough for someelse to make an increasing edit on it. The only reason I need this page up so much is because it fills in the blanks with this page.

I always liked you Protostealth so I will be honest I am having so much difficulty on this wiki making edits because if someone doesn't like my edits they easily delete them when it took so much effort and criativity that it makes me lose pleasure in making edits. I have trouble with it in game edits because it has to follow a story line that is so subjective that it one thing I say is cannon another says it is not. That is the main reason I made these two pages so it is simple enough for someone to understand what is an Ace.

I have made serveral useful edits since my arrival here so you know that I am very good in what I do but with all theses retrictions I just makes me want to quit at times simply delete my account and go somewhere else. But I will not do that if I don't have to.

As an administrator your objective is to keep order in this wiki but with order has to have progression and I feel at times that here progression is to slow with only 1,000 pages. I want to make this place more than it is make true and reliable information.

So please Protostealth let me post this last page an Ace in a Day.

Sorry to chime in unexpectedly, but I am also an admin, so I feel all responsible... Personally, I don't think we should have two separate articles on flying aces. While I agree that the definition of the term "ace" is relevant to the topic of this wiki (especially since our entry on Ace refers to the stock gameplay element of the series), I don't see a reason for creating a separate article for player characters who can shoot up five targets in a single mission. Proto why did you delete my page I told you before that I worked very hard on it and that I was upset that peolpe kept deleteing it for no reason other then there own personal opinion. It was not uniformative and I did have another contributer for the page User:ADF-01Falken it explained the Aces of the Ace Combat World! I am extremely upset about this because I just wrote a long argumentation on how I work so hard just to have all of it been wasted in the blink of an eye just because someone doesn't like what is on it.

Main page redesign

I'm not entirely sure. However, from what I know a method is to connect a PC to a PS2 with an AV cable, and use the "Screen Print" button to obtain the images you desire. Regarding on the new article format

I see that you have changed the format of the aircraft articles such as Su-35 and PAK FA. One of the most notable difference is the removal of the profile template. May I ask whether there are any specifications or standardisation for the new format so that we know what we should include or not when editing or adding info to the articles? The aircraft template is going to be redesigned. I messaged Koveras Alvane about it, but there was no response.

• On the article specifications, all aircraft articles should begin with a brief paragraph in which they are described (about three or four lines long), while the bulk of the articles themselves is composed by sections describing their appearances in their respective games (ex. Ace Combat 04 section, Assault Horizon section, etc.) Galleries, size 150px or similar, should be added at the end of each section whenever possible. Each section should describe which factions use an aircraft, the levels in which it appears and its gameplay performance, as well as its weapons selection and ammunition capacity.
