Trust me, the FCU stuff is pretty legitimate. The info and images come from the AC04 website; they are contained within the NEWS & WORLD categories. I don't know why, but the boys of Project Aces posted these pictures at a preposterously late date (like probably more than two years after Ace Combat 04 came out). So, I used the opportunity to mine away at the material and found its way to contribute all of it here on the Wiki.
However, the FATO stuff (e.g. the 'Far Anfang Treaty Organization') is a made-up thing, I guess. I'll be sure to note that right away, so people wouldn't be misinformed. But, the reason I put it on that page, is because it perfectly fits like a likely and plausible fact. Three factors outlined my decision on this:
- The name corresponds to the location of Fato; it's on the farthest edges of the Anfang Sea in the Cascade Ocean.
- It makes sense for it to be a treaty organization (like NATO or the EU); Fato is equal to that of a country that has multiple peoples within its borders, but flies them under a single banner and name.
- FATO (and the way it looks) always seems to be capitalized, meaning that it is an acronym after all (I think). The way it also fits in a grotesque and good-sounding manner, is also my case. See here, the USEA (the United States of Euro-Asis) is like that in the same manner.
