Throw-forward to NTSC Ace Combat 3

Is it just me, or does the flying fortress look a heck of a lot like the aircraft that accompanied the UI-4054 Aurora during/was the cause of the destruction of Megafloat in the North American version of Ace Combat 3? I'm not sure if such information is article-worthy, however. OOZ662 00:14, July 30, 2010 (UTC)

Yes, the Spirious indeed resembles the X-49 Night Raven. Most likely this is becuase the man behind Electrosphere is developing X2. Lest I forget, The X-49 was in the Japanese version too. ProtoStealth 02:32, July 30, 2010 (UTC)

PAL vs. NTSC

In the PAL version it's "Ace Combat X2: Joint Assault" and in NTSC (where I am) leaves out the " X2 ". Check the external links in the article. Do we keep the article the way it is and add the redirect "Ace Combat: Joint Assault" here? HavocReaper'48 19:52, April 8, 2010 (UTC)

Ah well, sounds good with me.

Ace Combat 04, Ace Combat 5, and Ace Combat Zero all take the NTSC for the title, and I don't see much reason to do it differently. --Koveras Alvane 07:54, April 9, 2010 (UTC)

F4F/F6F

The part about it being from a flashback is wrong if you look the two F4F/F6F's are shot down by an Su-37 Terminator seconds later.Someguy789 04:05, June 24, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for clarifying this. By the way, we never have said that it was actually a flashback: we only said that it could be a flashback. Anyway, thanks. ProtoStealth 04:38, June 24, 2010 (UTC)

Wow. A 4th Generation fighter (Su-37 Terminator) vs a WWII Prop driven fighter.. - User:Grabacr 1

The initial shot at about 2:48 (trailer 2) appears to be an F6f, judging by the lower wings and tail. in the shot immediately following, I can't make out the plane type fired upon. the first shot does show a hellcat, but the second is only over the same airfield (I believe that's Midway.) The first may be a flashback inspired by the location and the second shot what is currently happening. unless someone's found a quality vid where you can see them, and if so, do post the link Zero-G_Mako aka Orod 03:43, July 15, 2010 (UTC)

In fact, the island in question is Midway. To be precise, that is Sand Island AFB, the US-controlled airbase from WWII, and the inspiration for AC's Sand Island. ProtoStealth 04:12, July 15, 2010 (UTC)

What?

All of those innovations & differences have a major lack of sources. They will be purged unless sources are cited soon. --Havoc'48 20:41, August 28, 2010 (UTC)

Some missions in this game say that is in the year 2010 not 20XX, is that right?

IDK. I saw something that said AH took place 5 years after X2. Since Ah is in 2016, it could be that it was 2011. Solowing106 (talk) 00:59, August 5, 2012 (UTC)

Really? where you see that?

it's okay but i'm almost sure is in 2010 but let's see, and some missions say that

CocoonOne (talk) 01:05, August 5, 2012 (UTC)

I don't have the game, I'm just making inferences. Solowing106 (talk) 01:41, August 5, 2012 (UTC)
