Russian Naval Aviation (Морская авиация России) is the air arm of the Russian Navy. It possesses a considerable amount of aircraft.
History
By 2015, a portion of naval aviation was loyal to the New Russian Federation faction, which overthrew the legitimate government. In the mission Hostile Fleet, the pilots of the Admiral Kuznetsov-class aircraft carrier Admiral Aristov flew their Su-33 Flanker-D fighters and Ka-27 Helix helicopters against the United States Air Force and loyalist Russian Air Force. However, most of the aircraft were destroyed as they were taking off.
