Fencer is an Osean Air Defense Force pilot and a member of the Cyclops Squadron. Following the death of squadron leader Wiseman, he was placed in command of the unit.

Fencer joined the Osean Air Defense Force at some point and was assigned to the Long Range Strategic Strike Group's Cyclops Squadron following Operation Two Pairs. As one of the most powerful pilots in the LRSSG, his skill was recognized by the squadron leader Wiseman.[2]
