Carsten Nowotny was the leader of the Vampir Squadron, a unit part of the Belkan Air Force.[1]
Biography
Belkan War
On May 17, 1995, Nowotny and his team were deployed to Mount Ivrea to defend the perimeter from an Allied Forces invasion. The unit was shot down in an engagement with the Galm Team.[1]
In the Belkan Air Force's official registry, his name does not appear. This led to speculation that the official records were altered in some way. Regarded as a highly dangerous element, his whereabouts are being investigated.[1]
Trivia
- His last name is based on World War 2 Luftwaffe ace Walter Nowotny, who was known to have shot down 258 aircraft.
