Blue Max is a pilot part of the Republic of Emmeria Air Force's Sky Kid Squadron, officially the 4th Fighter Squadron. Throughout the Emmeria-Estovakia War, he flew a Mirage 2000-5.[2]
Biography
Following the invasion of Gracemeria, Blue Max alongside his squadron, retreated to Silvat Town with a large portion of Emmerian forces.[3] They would continue to be stationed there until reinforcements from Khesed Island arrived.[4]
Throughout the rest of the war, Blue Max partook in many key operations, including participating in the assault on the Aerial Fleet[5], Operation Free Gracemeria[6] and the assault on the Chandelier.[7]
Trivia
- His callsign is a reference to the game Sky Kid, a Namco title. Blue Max was a playable character in-game.
- His callsign, as well as the Sky Kid character, are named after the Prussian Pour le Mérite medal, often colloquially referred to as Blue Max, after German ace Max Immelmann. Other notable recipients of the Blue Max were Manfred von Richthofen and Hermann Göring.
