Air Combat Commando
The Air Combat Commando is a unit part of the Osean Defense Forces.
History
Circum-Pacific War
Multiple Osean Air Defense Force fighters during the period, including the aircraft flown by Wardog Squadron, Captain Bartlett's reserve F-5E and Major Hamilton's MiG-1.44, sport the Air Combat Commando emblem on their livery and thus implies the corresponding units were under its command. Additionally, Captain Snow's F-14A in VFA-206 also sports the emblem. According to the art director Masato Kanno, Osean Maritime Defense Force fighters will also be under the command of Air Combat Commando during emergency situations.[1]
Lighthouse War
Air Combat Commando involved in the conflict to an unknown extend, as Osean F-15Cs in a pre-release screenshot sport its emblem. However, most of the Osean units seen in action, such as Mage Squadron and Long Range Strategic Strike Group, carry Osean flag and their unit emblem on their aircraft instead.

Trivia
- The unit's name resembles the real-world United States Air Force's Air Combat Command. However, Masato Kanno conformed that the name was intentionally set to "Commando" instead of being a mistranslated version of "Command".[2]
