Following is a list of medals in Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War. There is a total of 15 medals to collect in the single-player campaign and Free Mission modes.

AC5 Gold Anchor Medal.png Gold Anchor
Complete Campaign Mission 03, "Narrow Margin", without losing any of the four allied vessels sailing with the OFS Kestrel.[1]
AC5 Lightning Hammer Medal.png Lightning Hammer
Complete Campaign Mission 09, "Lit Fuse", without losing any of the eight allied tanks.[1]
AC5 Bronze Shooter Medal.png Bronze Shooter
Shoot down 5 enemy aircraft using only machine guns.[1]
AC5 Silver Shooter Medal.png Silver Shooter
Shoot down 15 enemy aircraft using only machine guns.[1]
AC5 Gold Shooter Medal.png Gold Shooter
Shoot down 50 enemy aircraft using only machine guns.[1]
AC5 Desert Eagle Medal.png Desert Eagle
Accomplish either of the following:
  • Complete Campaign Mission 16A, "Desert Arrow", with over 20,000 points before the Mission Update and without losing more than three allied tanks or aircraft.[1]
  • Complete Campaign Mission 16B, "Desert Lightning", with over 22,000 points before the Mission Update.[1]

Shoot down all named aircraft.[1]
AC5 Bronze Ace Medal.png Bronze Ace
Destroy 200 enemy targets.[1]
AC5 Silver Ace Medal.png Silver Ace
Destroy 500 enemy targets.[1]
AC5 Gold Ace Medal.png Gold Ace
Destroy 1,000 enemy targets.[1]
AC5 Guardian Medal.png Guardian
Shoot down 10 enemy aircraft with a missile lock on your wingmen.[1]
AC5 Needle's Eye Medal.png Needle's Eye
Earn a perfect rating on all six landings (40 seconds or less) and two mid-air refuels (20 seconds or less).[1]
AC5 Bronze Wing Medal.png Bronze Wing
Earn an S rank on all missions on Normal difficulty.[1]
AC5 Silver Wing Medal.png Silver Wing
Earn an S rank on all missions on Hard difficulty.[1]
AC5 Gold Wing Medal.png Gold Wing
Earn an S rank on all missions on Expert difficulty.[1]
