Task Force 108
The 108th Task Force is an international military unit in Ace Combat: Assault Horizon. The Air Force and Army of the US comprise a large portion, but it also includes contingents from other NATO members, notably France, as well as the Russian Federation.
History
Task Force 108 was formed in 2015 in response to a crisis in East Africa. The SRN, a multi-national rebel movement, had somehow acquired a vast quantity of advanced weapons, vehicles, and even aircraft and began staging attacks on governments in the region. These countries approached the United Nations for help, and the matter was referred over NATO, although at least one non-NATO nation was involved as well.
