Manfred Netzer

Manfred Netzer, callsign Wuerfel, was a Belkan ace pilot of the Belkan War.[1]

Biography

On April 15, 1995, he was deployed to Route 171 to help stop an Allied Forces counterattack. Netzer was shot down and killed by the Galm Team. His remains, along with a diary addressed to his wife and child, were recovered.[1]

After the war's end, his diary was published under the name "A Letter to My Lovely Rose" and became a best-seller.[1]

  • Wuerfel (actual spelling Würfel) is the German phrase for "cube" and "dice".
