A Letter to My Lovely Rose[note 1] is a bestselling book published after the Belkan War.
The book was a diary addressed to the family of Belkan Air Force fighter pilot Manfred Netzer, who was killed during defensive action over Route 171 in a skirmish with Allied Forces. The diary, along with Netzer's corpse, was recovered from the wreckage of his Mirage 2000D.[1]
