Like a Phoenix Rising
Like a Phoenix Rising is the 13th track on Disc 2 of the ACE COMBAT 3D: CROSS RUMBLE Original Soundtrack. It was composed and arranged by Go Shiina, with lyrics and vocals by Noel, violin by Yu Manabe, horn by Ayumi Sasaki, and piano by tadasuke (the latter three being employees of Bandai Namco).
The song plays during the ending credits immediately following Fighter's Honor, the final mission in Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy. Like a Phoenix Rising was Noel's first and only performance in an Ace Combat game, though she has experience with other video games, such as God Eater.

Naming
According to Noel, the song was originally titled "Gravity" during writing and recording.[1][2] However, when the game and soundtrack were released, the name "Gravity" was used for Locked,[2] the rap song that plays during the final fight against Cocoon Squadron during the mission Seagull. The name "Locked" was then used for the trimmed and distorted version of the rap that plays prior to Z.O.E.'s appearance in the same mission.
Noel's song was renamed to "Like a Phoenix Rising (Full)", and a trimmed version was used for the game's title screen, titled "Like a Phoenix Rising".
