Fore Jet was a United States-based aircraft manufacturer. The company was known for its unorthodox designs and frequent use of composite materials in commercial aircraft.[1]
After the September 11 terror attacks and the airspace intrusion incident in May 2002, the questioning of American aviation safety led Taiga Heavy Industries to begin a merging and acquisition process with the brand, which was fully absorbed into the company in December of that year. Their knowledge was later used to develop the TFJ-01 GoldStar jet in 2007, which served as the basis for the F-3 Shinden II.[1]
