The F-2A -AMI- 3 Star Aircraft.png is a special version of the F-2A featuring the character Ami Futami from THE iDOLM@STER. It is available as a part of THE IDOLMASTER AMI, MAMI SET Downloadable Content in Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation, and was available as a standalone Special Aircraft in Ace Combat Infinity.

How to Unlock

The aircraft was only available as a Limited-Time Drop between March 5 and April 1 of 2015 during the third IDOLM@STER Collaboration Event. It was available again as Random Drop between February 1 and Februrary 29, 2016.

This aircraft has received improvements to its speed and mobility, as well as slight improvements to both air-to-air and air-to-ground offensive capabilities. These improvements come at a harsh cost, as its stability has been reduced to minimum levels. As a result, this aircraft tends to lock itself in a vertical pitch loop. The loop will end after a certain number of revolutions, or through direct player input. Like all of the iDOLM@STER aircraft in Fires of Liberation, this aircraft's payload has been altered to reference its idol, and leaves orange missile trails.
