Bennion Sea
The Bennion Sea is an inland sea on the Osean Continent.
Description
The Bennion Sea is located deep in the continent and near the heart of the nation of Osea. The Eaglin Straits on the west side of the sea links it to a larger channel that runs all the way to Ceres Ocean.
History
During the Circum-Pacific War, theYuktobanian Navy's Scinfaxi managed to enter the Bennion Sea at an unknown date. On September 30, Osean forces launched Operation Whalebird, an escort operation to lead surviving Osean Maritime Defense Force vessels into the Bennion Sea where they'd be safe from Yuktobanian attack until a counter-attack could be organized. The Scinfaxi ambushed the force at the Eaglin Straits with VTOL aircraft and burst missiles, sinking all but one carrier just after they entered the Bennion Sea.
