Axel Reichert,[note 2] callsign Schwan, is a former Belkan Air Force pilot.
Biography
Axel Reichert was born in Belka in 1960. He took part in numerous global conflict zones, making a string of victories while never taking damage, a feat for which he was given the nickname "The Swan" (or "Schwan" as translated in his Belkan TAC name) as well as top ace status in the 12th Air Division.[1]
This streak would be broken in the Belkan War on May 12, 1995 when his Solis Ortus defense against invading Allied Forces led to being shot down.[2] Reichert was discharged after the war, and took a new posting in a small nation's mercenary unit, suppressing any coup d'état movements.[1]
