― Flight 901

Air Ixiom Flight 901 was an civilian flight that existed early in development in Ace Combat Infinity.[1] It was intended to be a possible Mission Update during Online Co-Op Missions, where players would have to escort the aircraft and defend it from enemy fighters. However, for unknown reasons, it was removed before the game's full release.

Trivia

  • Air Ixiom is mainly a Strangereal airline company, from the Usean continent.
  • The in-game credits in Ace Combat Infinity, as well as the game's international website, included credits for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The Dreamliner is a real-life civilian airliner that was not actually featured in the game. Therefore, it's likely that the 787 would have been Flight 901's aircraft.
  • The only large civilian airport featured in Ace Combat Infinity is Dubai's International Airport, which is within the bounds of Dubai Night Assault and Dubai Night Assault (HARD). Flight 901's Mission Update would have most likely been possible in the Dubai missions.
    • These missions already feature a Mission Update where the airport is invaded by the USEAn forces.
