The 65th Tactical Fighter Squadron[note 1] was a unit that served in the Belkan Air Force 7th Air Division and saw action in the Belkan War.
History
The 65th Tactical Fighter Squadron became famous in the conflict for sinking the Sapin 3rd Naval Fleet on the Sapin front. They were present in the Allied Forces airstrike on Glatisant, where leader Bert Esser engaged, only to be taken down by Allied air units.[1]
Trivia
- The unit's full designation references the Goroawase pronounciation of the number 765 ("na-mu-ko"), in turn identical to the pronunciation of Namco.
