The 172nd Fighter-Bomber Squadron was a Yuktobanian Air Force squadron that served in the Circum-Pacific War.
History
Main article: Battle of Sudentor
On December 30, 2010, the 172nd Fighter-Bomber Squadron received Harling's and Nikanor's televised address that called for an end to hostilities between Osea and Yuktobania. The two leaders' words convinced the squadron and its AWACS (callsign, "Oka Nieba") to head for Sudentor, North Osea to engage the war's true instigators.[1]
The squadron―along with other Yuktobanian and Osean forces―allied itself with Razgriz Squadron and supported the assault on Gründer Industries' tunnel facility. During the engagement, Oka Nieba provided tactical information and relayed communications between Pops and the Razgriz pilots.[2]
