The Vladimir Mountains are a vast mountain range in northeastern Yuktobania, several hundred kilometers due east of Cruik Fortress.

Geography

The Vladimir Mountains are a relatively young range, as evidenced by their steep slopes and sharp peaks. The region supports little to no vegetation; it experiences heavy snowfall and frigid temperatures throughout autumn and winter.

History

On December 6, 2010, after supporting the successful siege of Cruik Fortress, Wardog Squadron passed over the Vladimir Mountains on its return trip to Sand Island Air Force Base. As the Wardog pilots prepared for midair refueling, they were ambushed by the 8492nd Squadron, which was revealed to be a Belkan aggressor squadron posing as Oseans. Despite heavy ECM jamming and the sheer number of hostiles, Wardog Squadron escaped the Vladimir Mountains and returned to Sand Island early the following morning.
