Rear Admiral Samuel Prin was an Erusean Royal Navy officer who served as the vice chief of naval operations during the Lighthouse War. He was killed in action during Operation Domino.
Biography
At some point prior to the Lighthouse War, Prin joined the Erusean Royal Navy and rose to the rank of rear admiral, additionally being appointed as Erusea's vice chief of naval operations.
On September 10, 2019, Prin attempted to flee Anchorhead alongside various other commanders in the midst of a surprise attack conducted by the Osean Long Range Strategic Strike Group. He was shot down and killed by Strider Squadron before he could escape. His death was a detriment to the Erusean Navy, severely impacting their future operations.[1]
Trivia
- In real life, the Vice Chief of Naval Operations (VCNO) is the principal deputy of the United States Navy's Chief of Naval Operations, and is the second-highest ranking commissioned officer in the Department of the Navy. The post of VCNO is only awarded to four-star admirals, meaning that Prin (a rear admiral) would not be eligible for the position.[2]
