The Multiple-Launch Standard Missile (MSTM) is a missile-type special weapon. It was introduced in Update 2.04 of Ace Combat Infinity and later featured in Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown. It was introduced as a replacement for the XFA-27's signature ability to fire four standard missiles consecutively in Ace Combat 2 and Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception.
The MSTM is comprised of four standard missiles, giving the player a total of six missiles to fire at once (two standard, four MSTMs). Unlike the similar Omnidirectional Multi-Purpose Missile, MSTMs do not have any special characteristics and cannot multi-lock. Exclusively in Infinity, tuning parts that affect standard missiles also affect MSTMs. This behavior was not ported to Ace Combat 7; the player must equip different parts for standard missiles and MSTMs.
