Lieutenant Louis Barbieri was a member of the submersible aviation cruiser Alicorn's elite air wing, under Captain Matias Torres' command.
Biography
At some point, Barbieri was assigned to Erusean Royal Navy's SACS unit aboard the Alicorn. During the Lighthouse War, his entire family was killed, spurring him to join his captain's cause.[1] He joined the rebellion that ensued on September 4, 2019.[2] On September 14, 2019, after a brief exchange with his captain, Barbieri took off from the Alicorn to engage the LRSSG during their battle against the submarine. He ultimately failed to defend the submarine when it was destroyed, killing Torres and everyone else aboard.[1]
Trivia
- Barbieri spawns during Ten Million Relief Plan's boss fight phase. After a brief dialogue exchange with Captain Torres, Barbieri will take off from the Alicorn alone, unlike other SACS pilots, who spawn in groups of two. Additionally, Barbieri's AI is buffed, compared to other SACS Rafales. However, he is not marked any differently on the HUD, and gives no extra points, compared to his brethren.[1]
