The HH-60 Pavehawk is a utility helicopter designed by Sikorsky. It is a variant of the UH-60L Black Hawk specialized for battlefield search and rescue duties. Its versatility allows it to perform operations in day, night and peacetime circumstances.
History
At least one Pavehawk was used by the Belkan Air Force to rescue Michael Kohl and the Tollwut Hund unit trapped in Futuro Canal following the conclusion of Offensive Campaign No. 4101.[1]
Trivia
- The HH-60 featured in Confession of a Soldier looks similar to the HH-60P Pave Hawk variant used by the South Korean Air Force, albeit without the FLIR pod and external fuel tanks.
