Gerd Vogts,[note 1] callsign Glueck, is a former Belkan Air Force pilot.
Etymology
Glueck (actual spelling "Glück") is German for "luck," a nod to his survival record.
Biography
Gerd Vogts was born in Belka in 1962.
As a pilot, Vogts was involved in numerous crashes including 12 aviation and several life-threatening, all of which he survived. These brushes with death gave him a legendary reputation among his squadron.[1]
During the Belkan War on April 15, 1995, he engaged Allied Forces over Route 171, but was shot down,[2] surviving yet again.
He retired afterwards, and settled in his homeland's capital of Dinsmark.[1]
