GeoEye, previously Orbital Imaging Corporation/ORBIMAGE is a commercial satellite imaging company set on Dulles, Virginia, and Earth's largest space imaging corporation. The company has close ties to the Japan Space Imaging Corporation, it's Japanese counterpart.
The company is a close friend to Namco Bandai, assisting the company by providing satellital images, which are used to render the cities & landscape seen throughout the Ace Combat flight simulation series; this explains why some cities of Strangereal closely resemble real-world towns.
