F-22A -INDIGO WING- is a skin for the F-22A Raptor available as DLC for Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation, as part of DLC Pack 06. It is also part of the Colored Wing Aircraft lineup of DLC for Ace Combat 6. It was released on March 26, 2008, and costs $2.49 (200 MSP, pre-MSP retirement) to download.
Overview
Like the rest of the aircraft in the Colored Wing lineup, this F-22 is one meant for airshow use, and is given a special color. The aircraft is colored indigo all around, save for the nose, some letters and outlines of the aircraft, which are black. The stats of the aircraft remain unchanged, save for the Air-to-Air and Air-to-Ground stats which are maxed out. This makes it more potent as a multirole aircraft and makes using the SOD pod more effective to use. Also, the missile trails are colored indigo to reflect the aircraft skin, and received a massive standard missile ammo increase to 800. It is considered the better of the F-22 DLC choices because of this.
