Data Swallow
Data Swallow (データースワロー Dētā Suwarō) is a computer operating system manufactured by General Resource Limited. Following its release, Data Swallow quickly became the standard operating system for computers worldwide. It functions by connecting directly to the electrosphere, granting users complete access to all sorts of information.
History
According to the in-game Search Engine in the Japanese version of Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere, Data Swallow version 1.0.0 was released in 2032,[1][2] version 2.5.0 was released in 2038,[3] and version 3.2.2 was released in 2040. Version 3.2.2 was marketed as Data Swallow 40 to coincide with the year.[2][4]
During the mission "Last Hope" in Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, which takes place in 2019, a billboard in Anchorhead uses the same mark as Data Swallow and advertises version 3.0.0 approximately 20 years before its supposed release.[5]
