The ALFIRE (Attacker-Launched Fire-and-Forget) was a modified AGM-114 Hellfire missile developed by the Japan Self-Defense Forces in the Horizon universe. Originally developed to be used by helicopters, it has the same effectivity against naval and ground targets of the AGM-114.
The weapon was designed to enhance the ground attack capabilities of the F-3 Shinden II, allowing it to attack targets and rapidly change position. Compared to the original model, it has upgraded guidance systems.[1]
